In the Mirror: Elko Speedway: 7/16 & 17 We raced in the ASA Midwest tour race for the Kwik Trip 125 last sunday. We practiced well and was able to qualify 9th. In my heat I finished 4th which left us with a 5th place starting spot in the main event. We fought a loose racecar all day so in the feature our primary goal was a hold on and finish the race. After struggling with the car on the long runs we moved around the top 5 to eventually settle with a 5th place finish. Overall we were very Happy with the result.
We've had trouble for the Amsoil Dirt Nationals at Elko Speedway these last few weeks and ended up having carburetor problems on friday then getting rained on before our feature on saturday night. I look forward to finishing off the Dirt Nationals at Elko this upcoming weekend.
Raceway Park: 7/18/10
driven by an incredible passion for challenges and excitement. He is often noted as a strong competitor on and off the track. Ryan has developed a knack for driving anything with wheels especially fast. Ryan began racing at the young age of 6 years old in the Quarter Midget Class in the Minnesota Quarter Midget Racing Association. Since then, he has seen all corners of the country in many different racecars and has never lacked any speed or competitive spirit. Although Ryan loves to let his driving do the talking, he is also an excellent public speaker who readily communicates with new people. Ryan's vision of success is to be the best and he hopes that with the proper support he will race in the Sprint Cup series in the future.
